The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) celebrates 10th anniversary of Aeroplan partnership

Saturday, November 9, 2024

Marking a decade as Aeroplan’s primary credit card issuer, The Toronto-Dominion Bank (TD) has launched an exclusive contest, offering over 20 million Aeroplan points in prizes, including a grand prize of 10 million points.

Beginning November 7, 2024, the TD Aeroplan 10th Anniversary Contest will run through November 16, 2024, and feature a total of over 285,000 prizes.

Alongside the grand prize, TD will also award 10 prizes of 1 million points each.

This contest underscores the long-standing partnership between TD and Aeroplan, which has enabled over a million Canadians to earn over 300 billion Aeroplan points and explore more than 1,800 global destinations through Air Canada and its 45+ airline partners.

“We know how much Canadians love to travel, and Aeroplan points make those dreams more accessible,” said Tim Elgar, TD’s Vice President of Partnerships & Loyalty.

“Whether it’s a major getaway or everyday rewards through the Aeroplan eStore, we’re proud to offer TD Aeroplan Credit Cardholders a chance to reach their travel goals.”

10 Million Points: Where Will They Take You?

With 10 million Aeroplan points, the grand prize winner could book up to 57 round-trip economy flights from Montreal to Porto or 55 round-trip economy flights from Vancouver to Singapore.

Even second-place winners could book up to 6 round-trip economy flights from Toronto to Delhi with 1 million points.

“A contest of this size is a fitting tribute to 10 years of incredible value and exclusive travel benefits for Aeroplan members,” said Pierre-Jean Mayol, Senior Director, Financial Institutions and Travel Partners at Aeroplan.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate with TD and look forward to seeing where our members will travel next.”
